NB:

Please note that we have a lift on the left side of the entrance. Baby strollers can be taken into the museum's foyer and cafe, but unfortunately not in the exhibitions due to fire safety. We happily lend you a baby carrier or a smaller stroller.

You do not have to buy an entrance ticket to visit the museum shop and museumscafe, which have the same opening hours as the museum.

MINIMISE INFECTION RISK: Our doors are open once again and we can finally welcome you all back to Stavanger museum for the first time since we closed on the 12th of March. The museum exhibitions have been adapted to minimise infection risk: both gloves and hand sanitiser can be found throughout the museum and certain items (such as toys) have been removed, the Fairytail Castle is closed (temporary). During your visit we ask you to please abide by the 1 metre rule. We hope you will have a nice visit.
